from the capital the Mitilini, 7km prior the town of Molivos and in
a distance almost 2km from Petra, the region of Anaxos is found, a
tourist region with marvelous sandy beach which extends 1 km in length. Here the visitor can enjoy the tranquility and the insouciance as well as the immense blue color of the Aegean Sea, in the background there are two small islets, Agios Georgios and Mermegia. The enjoyment of a varied dinner near the shore in one of many small taverns after a day long swim in the azure sea compensates any one’s choice to select this region for tourism. |
